It has been some time since I came across a good comedy movie. I am glad to say that Bad moms falls somewhat in that category.

Starring Mila Kunis, Kathryn Hahn, Kristen Bell and Christina Applegate, Bad moms focuses on the issues that every mom faces in her day to day life.

The movie revolves around the life of Amy (Mila Kunis) and how challenging her life is as a mom. As the movie progresses, we see Amy breakfree from the shackles that tie her down. She realises that she can never be a perfect mom and she is happy being a Bad mom.

Amy along with her newly made friends Carla (Kathryn Hahn) and Kiki (Kristen Bell) set out to change their own lives and the lives of other moms around the neighborhood. However in order to change anything, they have to go through Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate), the perfect mom. Whether they manage to do so or not, is something I would leave you guys to check out for yourself.

Even though the movie falls under the Comedy genre, there are moments that make you think. One of them being the fact how women sacrifice a part of their lives on a daily basis for their families without ever complaining (Respect that!). Another one being that sometimes you just need to let go of all the stress and do things that make you happy.

The movie has a lot of light moments and a few make you laugh really hard. All actors manage to pitch in decent performances, however Kristen Bell needs to really get the drunk act right.

Overall the movie is above average but surely a fun watch. Go to the cinema to release that stress and laugh out loud.
